Our Values

Underpinning all our work and at the core of our ethos is inclusion and equality, and therefore integral to every session, project, performance and partnership that is planned or delivered, are the outcomes of improving the quality of life for all our members – particularly those who often face exclusion or marginalisation, promoting respect and ensuring each child sees themselves as well as others, as equal members of society.

When starting at Brixton Inclusive, we ask all children and young people (as well as staff and volunteers) to sign up to the following ground rules which have been agreed by us all:

B – Be Safe and Be Kind
R – Respect yourself and each other
I – Include others always
X - xpress yourself and have fun
T – Talk one at a time and listen to others
O – Openness to try new things
N – No leaving the space without permission
